AlgoLHub ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Word Search mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

- Google Play Games Sign-In (Optional): If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, we collect your Google Play Games profile information (username, player ID) to enable leaderboards, achievements, and cross-device sync.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Game Progress Data: Level completion, scores, star ratings, hints used, tokens earned, and achievements unlocked are stored locally on your device.
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and performance monitoring.
- Usage Analytics: Anonymized gameplay statistics (levels played, session duration, feature usage) collected via Firebase Analytics.
- Crash Reports: Crash logs and error reports collected via Firebase Crashlytics to improve app stability.
1.3 Advertising Information
- AdMob (Google Ads): When you choose to watch rewarded ads, Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers, IP address, and device information for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
- Game Functionality: Save your progress, unlock levels, track achievements, and provide personalized gameplay.
- Leaderboards & Achievements: Display your scores and achievements on Google Play Games leaderboards (only if you sign in).
- App Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to improve features, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
- Advertising: Serve rewarded ads through Google AdMob when you choose to watch them for in-game rewards.
- Customer Support: Respond to your inquiries and provide technical support.
3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party services:
3.1 Google Play Games Services
- Purpose: Leaderboards, achievements, and cloud save synchronization

4. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: Game progress, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using encrypted databases (Room, DataStore).
- Cloud Storage (Optional): If you sign in with Google Play Games, your gameplay data is synced to Google's servers according to Google's privacy practices.
- Security Measures: We use industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
- Local Data: Stored on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
- Cloud Data (Google Play Games): Retained according to Google Play Games Services data retention policies. You can delete your data by signing out or deleting your Google Play Games data.
- Analytics & Crash Reports: Retained for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted or anonymized.
6. Your Privacy Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: View your game progress and settings within the app.
- Delete: Clear all local data by uninstalling the app or using your device's app settings.
- Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: Disable ad personalization in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).
- Opt-Out of Analytics: Disable analytics tracking by not granting optional permissions.
- Sign Out: Disconnect Google Play Games at any time from the Settings screen.
7. Children's Privacy
Our App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe your child has provided personal information without consent, please contact us at privacy@algolhub.com and we will delete it promptly.
The app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Designed for Families program requirements.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where Google's servers are located. By using the App, you consent to such transfers in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Displaying an in-app notification (for material changes)
